What it is

Our facial is an hour of cleansing, gentle exfoliation, extractions where they help, a mask and a massage of the face, neck and shoulders. Noor adjusts the products to how your skin looks that day.

A chemical peel is an acid solution, such as glycolic or lactic acid, left on the skin for a measured time. It loosens the outer layer of dead cells so it sheds over the next few days. Dermaplaning is a careful pass with a sterile blade that removes fine facial hair and surface flakes.

Who it suits

Facials suit almost everyone, including people who have never had one. Light peels suit most skin types; medium peels need a consultation first.

Stop retinoid creams five to seven days before a peel, and skip waxing that week. If you are pregnant, Noor will choose products that are safe to use.

Downtime and price

After a facial most people go straight back to their day. After a light peel, expect some pinkness for a few hours and light flaking from day two to day five. Wear sunscreen and leave the flakes alone.

In this demo, the signature facial is $165, a light peel is $150 and a medium peel starts at $295. Dermaplaning adds $45 to any facial. Members get one facial or light peel each month as part of the club.

Facials and peels: common questions

How often should I come in?

Every four to six weeks suits most people. Your skin renews on roughly that cycle.

Will dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker?

No. Fine facial hair grows back the same as before.

Can I wear makeup afterward?

After a facial, yes. After a peel, wait until the next morning.
