Sorrel Room Aesthetics

A small med spa above First Street

Four treatment rooms, a team of four, and one medical director who knows every client's plan.

Why Sorrel Room exists

Dr. Imogen Valcourt spent eleven years in general dermatology in the western suburbs. Patients kept asking her about injectables and laser, and about who would be doing the treatment.

She opened Sorrel Room in 2021 on the second floor of a First Street building, a short walk from the Hinsdale Metra station. The rule from the first day: a physician sees every new medical client, and nothing is sold on the day it is suggested unless the client asks.

The team you will see

Everyone who treats you is licensed in Illinois. Credentials on this demo are samples.

  • A physician in a white coat and glasses holding a stethoscope, against a warm beige wall

    Imogen Valcourt, MD Sample

    Medical director

    • Board certified in dermatology [sample credential]
    • Illinois physician license [sample credential]

Dr. Valcourt sees every new injectable and laser client for the first consultation, writes the treatment plan, and reviews each chart afterward. She practiced general dermatology in the western suburbs for eleven years before opening Sorrel Room in 2021.

  • A nurse in light blue scrubs, standing with one hand on her hip

    Tessa Varga, BSN, RN Sample

    Nurse injector

    • Registered nurse, Illinois [sample credential]

Tessa does most of our wrinkle relaxer and filler appointments. She keeps a photo record of each visit for your chart, so the next appointment starts from what was done last time.

  • A clinician in dark green scrubs and glasses, standing with his hands in his pockets

    Marcus Ellison-Fairweather, PA-C Sample

Physician assistant, laser and body treatments

    • Physician assistant, certified [sample credential]

Marcus runs the laser room and the body contouring appointments, including the test spot every new laser client gets before a full session.

  • [Photo: Noor in the facial room]

    Noor Haddad Sample

    Licensed esthetician

    • Licensed esthetician, Illinois [sample credential]

Noor does the facials, peels and dermaplaning, and writes the home-care card you leave with.

How we work

  1. Step 1

A physician writes every medical plan

Injectable, laser and body plans are written by Dr. Valcourt at the consultation and reviewed after the visit.

  2. Step 2

The price comes before the needle

You see the dose or the number of sessions and the total in writing, and you can take it home.

  3. Step 3

    No photos of other people

We do not use before-and-after photos to sell treatments. We photograph your own treatment for your chart.

  4. Step 4

    We say when to wait

If a treatment does not suit you yet, because of a medicine, a tan or a pregnancy, we say so and suggest what to do instead.

Visiting us

Take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor. The waiting room is quiet, with tea and water.
